Both drops are among the most popular licensed collabs in the game's history: Spinmaster reported that the first integration alone drove 292 million in-app gifts redeemed and 50 million uses of Hello Kitty collab items.

Collab overview: Toca Boca's Sanrio partnership
Toca Boca x Hello Kitty® and Friends is a character-licensing collaboration with Sanrio — the Japanese company behind Hello Kitty, Kuromi, My Melody and the wider Friends cast. Unlike Toca Boca's later Conan Gray artist collab (music and Character Creator drops), the Sanrio line is built around premium Furniture Packs, a Style Pack in 2025, and recurring Post Office gift events that preview items for free before packs go on sale.
- 2021 (3rd collab overall): Launched December 14, 2021. Introduced the Hello Kitty® and Friends Furniture Pack — the first furniture pack ever tied to a collaboration, and the fourth Furniture Pack in the game at the time. Characters: Hello Kitty, Badtz-Maru, Kuromi, My Melody, Gudetama. Shop departure: January 31, 2023.

Do not mix up the SKUs. The 2021 pack and the 2025 Party pack are separate purchases with different character line-ups and item lists. Owning one does not unlock the other.
2021 collaboration: the first Sanrio drop
The first Toca Boca x Hello Kitty® and Friends event was the studio's third collaboration overall and its earliest major character-licensing play in Toca Boca World. Sanrio's mascots arrived as a single premium Hello Kitty® and Friends Furniture Pack on December 14, 2021, with winter-themed Post Office gifts following on December 17, 2021.
Furniture and decor across the pack pull from five complete character-themed mini-rooms. The pack remained in the in-app shop until January 31, 2023, when Toca Boca announced its departure on social media — with the reassurance that buyers would never lose purchased items. It later returned for a limited window starting January 2, 2024, preceded by a five-day Post Office gift chain in late December 2023.
2021 Furniture Pack: five character themes
The Hello Kitty® and Friends Furniture Pack contains 87 furniture pieces, 58 decorations, 12 wall designs and 8 floor patterns. Walls and floors can be mixed freely across themes. Below is each mini-room's vibe and approximate piece count.
Hello Kitty Diner theme
A 1950s-style diner selling Hello Kitty-themed burgers, fries, shakes, boba tea, vinyl figurines and gachapons. Palette: blues, reds, whites with yellow accents — tied to Hello Kitty's sweet demeanor, apples and baking.
Badtz-Maru Arcade theme
Video/arcade gaming, sports and punk music. Blues, yellows and black reflect Badtz-Maru's mischievous personality. The XO Lighting references the secret XO clan Badtz-Maru runs with his friends.
Kuromi Goth-punk theme
Goth and punk ghostly ornaments and cosmetics. Blacks, pinks, whites and purple accents match Kuromi's tomboyish punk style.
My Melody Crafts theme
Sewing and crafts with soft pinks, yellows and pastel subdued colors — echoing My Melody's treasured hood and kind personality.
Gudetama Spa theme
Spa meditation plus egg-and-bacon snack pairs. Yellows, whites and bamboo accents suit Gudetama's lazy, aloof charm.
2021 launch gifts & 2024 return gifts
December 2021 — launch Post Office gifts
On December 17, 2021, three days after the furniture pack release, Toca Boca dropped five separate Post Office gifts containing winter-themed outfits for Hello Kitty® and Friends characters. These were free to claim during the original event window and remain on your Rainbow Shelves if you collected them then.
December 2023 – January 2024 — return gift chain
Before the pack's January 2024 shop return, Toca Boca teased the comeback with a multi-day gift chain in the Post Office:

The Hello Kitty® and Friends Furniture Pack itself returned to the in-app shop on January 2, 2024. Toca Boca also confirmed that ten adorable gifts from the original collab would come back alongside the pack.
2025 collaboration: Party, Street Style & Deluxe
The second Toca Boca x Hello Kitty® and Friends event — the studio's tenth collaboration — launched October 7, 2025 and ran through January 31, 2026. For the first time in Toca Boca World, Cinnamoroll, Pompompurin and Keroppi joined returning favorites Hello Kitty and Kuromi.
Three paid products shipped together, plus a month-long free gift event with ten Post Office drops:

Tagline: "Yay! A Style Pack and Furniture Pack in one!" Includes everything from the Party Furniture Pack and Street Style Pack: 132 furniture and decorations, 10 surface designs, 87 clothing pieces and 15 outfits. Left the shop with the individual packs on January 31, 2026.
2025 free gift event (10 Post Office gifts)
Toca Boca dropped gifts in the Post Office from October 10, 2025, with the final batch on October 31, 2025 (Kuromi's birthday). All gifts could be claimed until November 7, 2025. It's a month-long gifting event featuring ten adorable free gifts alongside the paid packs.

Open the in-app shop and search for Hello Kitty or Sanrio. You can buy the 2021 Furniture Pack, 2025 Street Style Pack and Deluxe bundle until June 7, 2026. Verify the countdown in the shop UI in case Toca Boca extends a return.
If you missed every window
Wait for the next announced return (Toca Boca has brought Sanrio packs back multiple times since 2021) or watch for Gift Bonanza preview gifts. There is no way to earn full paid packs through gameplay alone.
