Locais Secretos e Atlas de Itens Toca Boca 2026 — Segredos por Distrito

If you have already read our Toca Boca Secrets Guide 2026 for step-by-step puzzle walkthroughs and our Items Wiki for item-by-item categorisation, this article fills the missing third axis: a location-first atlas. Open the table of contents below, jump to the district you are exploring, and you will find every hidden spot inside it plus the items that spawn there. No more switching between three tabs to figure out what is supposed to be behind that suspicious-looking poster.

How this atlas is organized

This guide is built like a real-world atlas. The unit of organisation is the physical spot — a poster, a manhole cover, a parking-lot ambulance — not the item category. Each district section follows the same pattern: a one-line orientation, a list of hidden spots in the order you naturally encounter them, and for every spot the trigger action and the reward.

Across the article we tag every hidden item with a small rarity badge so you can plan your hunt by effort, not just by location.

  • Common Found with a single tap or interaction; no prerequisites.
  • Rare Requires moving an object, solving a small puzzle, or visiting twice.
  • Super rare Multi-step trigger: specific character, specific items, specific order.
  • Event Only available during seasonal events or limited-time drops.

Version note: The atlas below is verified against Toca Boca World latest version. The developers occasionally relocate or retire secrets in major updates. If a trigger here no longer works after an update, leave a comment on the blog so we can re-verify.

Universal hunting toolkit

Before we dive into specific districts, it pays to understand how Toca Boca hides things. Most secrets follow one of six trigger types. Once you recognise the pattern you can find new secrets faster than this guide can be updated.

The six trigger types

  1. Single tap: The simplest. A poster, vehicle part, or piece of furniture reveals an item when tapped. Example: ambulance fuel tank at the Hospital.
  2. Move object: You need to physically drag an item off a shelf, lift a manhole cover, or pull back a curtain to reveal what is behind or below. Example: manhole cover crumpet in Bop City storage.
  3. Character as key: A specific named character (most often Zeke, Nari, Rita or Leon) must be present and holding specific items. The interaction is character-locked. Example: every summoning crumpet.
  4. Item combination: Two items have to be combined or placed together at a specific spot. Order and even left/right hand can matter.
  5. Pattern or code puzzle: Pictures arranged to match wall marks, a keypad code entered after collecting digits, a sequence of buttons in the right order. Example: Haunted House gallery, Hospital 3-digit safe.
  6. Trail follow: Visual breadcrumbs in the level (food crumbs, footprints, wall marks) lead you to a specific micro-location. Place an item at the trail's end to trigger the reward. Example: Croquet food bowl in Bop City storage.

Five visual cues to scan for

Walk into any new room and run your eyes over these five things first — they catch ninety percent of hidden triggers:

  • Posters and frames with text or symbols that read like instructions ("No Sloth", arrows, numbers).
  • Manhole covers, vents, trapdoors and loose floor tiles — anything that suggests a layer beneath.
  • Crumbs, scuff marks, paw prints or stains on the floor — these are trail-follow markers.
  • Out-of-place objects (a microwave inside a hair salon, a toilet that looks slightly off-grid) — usually hiding interactions.
  • Tombstones, fuel tanks, suitcases, lockers and trolleys — containers that almost always reward a tap.

Hunting protocol: When you enter a new room, do one slow camera pass and tap nothing. Just look. Then on a second pass tap every object that matched a cue above. On a third pass, drag every loose item you can grab. This three-pass routine reliably surfaces hidden interactions without missing the trail-follow style secrets.

Bop City atlas

Cartoon illustration of the Bop City storage centre showing a No Sloth poster, three numbered storage doors, a food crumb trail leading to a teal food bowl, and a small crumpet creature peeking from a manhole cover
Bop City storage centre — the secret-density heart of the game, where Croquet, the manhole crumpet, and the King Sloth outfit all hide within a few tiles of each other.

Bop City is the secret-density capital of Toca Boca World. The storage centre alone contains more hidden interactions than entire districts elsewhere, and it is also where every summoning crumpet must be assembled (covered in its own table below). For a wider tour of every district see our All Districts & Locations Map Guide; this section focuses purely on what is hidden in Bop City.

Storage centre

The storage centre sits at the heart of Bop City and looks like a working warehouse with rolling doors and crates. It functions as the game's "summoning chamber" but it also contains its own self-contained secrets.

  • Croquet, Nari's cloud-like pet Rare — As soon as you enter the storage area look for a faint trail of food crumbs on the floor. Follow the crumbs to a specific storage door and step inside. On the ground you will see a slight indent surrounded by faded food stains. Pick up the teal food bowl nearby and place it directly on top of the indent. Croquet materialises.

  • Manhole-cover crumpet Rare — Look down at the storage centre floor for a small round manhole cover. Drag it aside to reveal a tiny crumpet using a miniature sewing machine. Pick it up to add it to your inventory.
Closed manhole cover on the Bop City storage centre floor Open manhole revealing the tiny crumpet with its miniature sewing machine
  • "No Sloth" poster → King Sloth outfit Common — Continue to the left of the storage centre until you see a poster with the words "No Sloth" printed on it. A single tap on the poster reveals the King Sloth outfit and adds it to your wardrobe. Lore-wise, this outfit belongs to the mail carrier's wife (the relationship does not last, but the outfit does).

Mall

The Bop City mall is mostly a shopping location, but it doubles as the primary source of items needed to assemble summoning crumpets at the storage centre. While you are there, three small secrets are worth grabbing in passing:

  • Golden remote controller Rare — Tucked among the electronics displays. Required later for the Nimbus crumpet.
Golden remote controller resting on the Bop City mall couch display
  • Light-up disco ball Rare — Hidden among the party-supply shelves. Required for the Sloth crumpet.
Glowing light-up disco ball on the Bop City mall party-supply shelf
  • Black camera + binoculars pair Rare — Both can be grabbed from the same mall corner. Together they unlock the Paulina crumpet via Rita.
Black camera on the Bop City mall electronics shelf Binoculars on the mall toy shelf next to police and fire trucks

Apartments

The Bop City apartment block hides two distinct categories of secret — an inventory cluster and a structural one.

  • Potato chips and golden poop decoration Rare — Both are found inside one of the upper apartments. The potato chips feed into the Nimbus crumpet recipe; the golden poop becomes part of the (unfortunately named) Poop crumpet.
Potato chips bag on the Bop City apartment kitchen shelf Golden poop decoration on display inside a Bop City apartment
  • Octopus decoration Rare — Sitting on a shelf in another apartment, this is the trigger object for the Octobox crumpet.
Purple octopus decoration on an apartment shelf next to bottles and a cat painting
  • Secret rooftop apartment Super rare — Investigate the top floor for a hidden access point to a rooftop unit. Follow visual clues (out-of-place fixtures, a slightly different railing pattern) to unlock it. The rooftop hides a small lounge scene you cannot reach by default.

Three-story building

The narrow three-story building near the apartment block is one of the most overlooked hiding spots in Bop City.

  • Second-floor safe Super rare — Climb to the second floor and look for a small wall safe. Opening it requires a 3-digit code; the digits can be collected from posters and signs in the surrounding street if you read them carefully.
  • First-floor storage corner Rare — The ground-floor corner room contains an extra stash of common items players often miss because the door blends into the wall texture.

The summoning crumpet master table

Cartoon illustration of a child character summoning a sloth crumpet by holding a cabbage in one hand and a glittering disco ball in the other, with a chalkboard showing crumpet recipe combinations on the wall behind
How a summoning works — the right character, the right two items, the right hands. Get any of the three wrong and the crumpet refuses to spawn.

Crumpets are tiny named creatures unique to Toca Boca World. Twelve of them are summoned by bringing the right character and the right two items together inside the Bop City storage centre. For background on the wider crumpet item family see our Items Wiki; this table is the practical recipe book.

How to read the table: stand the listed character in the storage centre, place item A in their right hand (your left from the camera view), place item B in their left hand (your right). The crumpet spawns immediately when the combination is correct.

Thumbnails for the five most-asked-about crumpets are pulled from our own Items Wiki. Naming may differ slightly between the wiki's catalogue view and this atlas's recipe view — see the wiki for the canonical entry on each.

Hand-order trap: Toca Boca's character avatars face the camera, so "the character's right hand" is on your left on the screen. If a combination fails after you have the right items and the right character, the first thing to try is swapping the two items between hands. A handful of community reports note that the Tailor crumpet may currently want the inverse hand assignment after a recent patch — try both orderings if it does not summon.

Hospital atlas

Cartoon hospital parking lot illustration showing a friendly ambulance with a hidden hamster peeking out near the fuel tank, melon seeds on the ground, and a metal trolley stacked with colourful clothes hiding a sparkling diamond gem
Hospital parking lot — the ambulance fuel tank hides a friendly hamster, while the trolley beside it reveals an entire wardrobe stack plus a hidden diamond.

The hospital looks like an everyday clinic until you start tapping the vehicles in the parking lot and pulling at the picture frames on the wall.

Parking lot (first floor)

  • Hidden hamster in the ambulance Common — On the left side of the parking lot sits a parked ambulance. Tap the fuel tank on the side of the vehicle and a small hamster pops out. There are melon seeds on a nearby surface you can use to feed it.
  • Hospital trolley → clothes and a diamond Rare — Immediately to the left of the ambulance is a metal trolley. Tap it to release a small wardrobe of medical and casual outfits, with a diamond gem tucked behind the last item.

Gallery wing (left of the lift)

  • Picture puzzle → secret laboratory Super rare — Take the lift down (or up) to the gallery wing on the left. The pictures hanging on the wall are unfinished; corresponding marks are visible on the wall behind them. Re-arrange the pictures so each one sits over its matching wall mark. When all pictures are correctly placed, a chamber slides open on the left side of the room, revealing a hidden laboratory full of equipment.

Compartment puzzle

  • 3-digit code safe compartment Super rare — Elsewhere in the hospital is a small wall compartment locked with a 3-digit keypad. The digits are scattered on clipboards and posters around the building; scan the consultation rooms and the reception desk to collect them. The compartment rewards a rare furniture piece.

Trigger sequence at a glance

If the picture-frame puzzle feels finicky, the Hospital also responds to a separate button-and-lever sequence that opens the same lab door from a different angle of the building. Our Items Wiki has the close-up shots of each trigger; the four checkpoints in order are:

Red wall buttons next to the Hospital lockers on floor one
Step 1 · Locker buttonsPress the red buttons set into the wall beside the floor-one lockers.
Red trigger button hidden near the Hospital glass tank
Step 2 · Glass-tank buttonTap the red button hidden behind the glass tank scene.
Control-room lever at the Hospital secret lab entrance
Step 3 · Control leverPull the lever at the machine-room entrance to open the lab route.

Haunted House atlas

Whimsical not-scary cartoon haunted house interior with four gold-framed gallery paintings (moon, star, bat, pumpkin), faint matching outline marks on the wall above them suggesting a placement puzzle, a hidden chamber sliding open to reveal a lab with glowing potion bottles, and a tombstone outside with a small crumpet peeking out of a dug-open coffin
Haunted House gallery wing — align the four paintings with the outline marks on the wall and the secret laboratory door slides open. The outdoor tombstone hides a crumpet inside a coffin.

The Haunted House is one of the moodiest locations in Toca Boca World and contains two of the most "satisfying" hidden interactions — a puzzle-driven lab reveal and a gravedigging mini-event.

Indoor gallery

  • Gallery picture puzzle → secret laboratory Super rare — On the left side of the central lift the wall holds a row of unfinished pictures. The walls behind them carry faint matching marks. Drag each picture onto the correct mark; once the whole gallery is solved, a hidden chamber on the left slides open to reveal a fully equipped laboratory scene. This is the Haunted House analogue of the Hospital puzzle.

Outdoor graveyard

  • Tombstone crumpet Rare — Walk outside to the front of the Haunted House. Beside the lone tree you will see a small tombstone. Tap the patch of ground right next to the tombstone; the soil opens, a coffin rises, and inside is a crumpet ready to collect.

Speed-run tip: The Hospital and Haunted House labs share almost identical mechanics. If you solved one, you already know how to solve the other — just swap "hospital posters" for "haunted oil paintings" in your mental model.

Central Station atlas

The Central Station combines a public platform with two hidden rooms most casual players never enter.

Train driver's chamber

  • Driver's chamber food box Rare — Board the train at the platform and slide open the door at the front of the carriage. Inside the driver's cab is a small box on the right side of the floor. Tap it to reveal several rare food items.
  • Card-shaped keycard Super rare — Inside the same chamber, alongside the food, is a card-shaped key. This card unlocks the door on the left side of the main station hall.

The pest-control room

  • Hidden mask Rare — After unlocking the side door with the keycard, you enter a small backroom occupied by two mice and an alligator. A box near the back wall reveals a mask when tapped.
  • Chemical sprays Rare — A second box on the left side of the same room yields a pair of chemical spray canisters. Combine with the mask for an in-character pest-control roleplay scene.

Voxella / Boxella Festival atlas

The Voxella music festival is a smaller location but punches well above its weight in hidden interactions, especially around the porta-potties (yes, really).

  • Porta-potty diamond Rare — Step into the festival toilet and tap the wall directly behind the commode. The wall slides back to reveal a diamond gem.
  • Porta-potty item tray Rare — In another stall, an item tray hides a small assortment of festival-themed props that you can pick up and reuse across other scenes.
  • Photo booth interactions Common — The on-site photo booth contains unlockable filters and accessory props that only appear after a character enters the booth and triggers the photo animation.
  • Hairstyle station Common — The festival's mobile salon contains a couple of hairstyles that are not available in the main Bop City hair salon — worth a quick visit on every event refresh.

Vox Valley & Crumpet Island Lighthouse atlas

Golden-hour cartoon scene of Crumpet Island showing a tall red-and-white striped lighthouse with a glowing secret room at the top revealing an armchair, colourful beach huts on stilts above turquoise water with one open showing summer outfits and a small crumpet creature, palm trees, a fairy-tale castle silhouette on a distant hill, and fairy lights strung across the scene
Crumpet Island Lighthouse and the Vox Valley horizon — climb the lighthouse to find a cosy private room at the top; the beach huts on the way each hide rotating seasonal outfits and props.

Vox Valley sits at the more whimsical end of Toca Boca World, while Crumpet Island is the island vacation district that contains the most-rumoured hidden room in the game.

Vox Valley

  • Fairy Tale Park Super rare — Tucked at the back of Vox Valley is a fairy-tale themed sub-location featuring magical creatures, oversized props, and a separate small NPC roster. The entrance is gated behind a small interaction sequence on the main valley path.
  • Octopus decoration spawns Rare — Multiple octopus decorations are placed across Vox Valley shelves. Each one can be carried to Bop City for use in the Octobox crumpet recipe, so if your first attempt fails you have spares.

Crumpet Island Lighthouse

  • Lighthouse top room Super rare — The lighthouse on Crumpet Island looks decorative but climbing all the way to the top and tapping at the upper window reveals a small private room above the lantern. Inside is a rare cosy-island furniture set you cannot buy.
  • Beach huts Rare — Several of the small beach huts on Crumpet Island contain item shelves with rare summer outfits and food items that rotate seasonally.

Other districts: quick-hits atlas

The remaining districts are lighter on secret density but still contain a handful of high-value hiding spots. We have grouped them here as a fast-reference list.

Busy Plaza

  • ATM stash Common — Tap the plaza ATM repeatedly to dispense additional in-game currency stacks.
  • Cracked sidewalk tile Rare — Look for a single oddly-textured sidewalk tile near the plaza fountain; lift it to reveal a small cache.

Biscuit Town

  • Biscuit-shaped key Rare — Hidden inside the bakery oven, this novelty key unlocks a back-room scene with rare baking props.
  • Underground tunnel access Super rare — A trapdoor under one of the picnic tables leads to a brief tunnel scene.

Pom Pom Peaks

  • Mountain summit chest Rare — Reaching the highest point reveals a small wooden chest with cold-weather outfits.
  • Cave entrance behind waterfall Super rare — Tap the waterfall to reveal a hidden cave with glowing crystal props.

OK Street

  • Vending machine glitch item Rare — Tap a specific vending machine multiple times to dispense a non-food bonus prop.
  • Back-alley graffiti code Super rare — The graffiti on the alley wall spells out a code that can be entered at one of the storefront keypads for a rare poster.

Omelette Islands

  • Submerged treasure Rare — Send a character snorkelling to retrieve a small treasure crate from the seafloor.
  • Coconut tree shake Common — Repeatedly tapping the trunk drops rare coconuts used in cooking recipes.

Lettuce Lands

  • Hidden compost garden Rare — Behind the main greenhouse, a smaller compost garden contains seasonal vegetables not available in the visible store.
  • Scarecrow hat swap Rare — Swap the scarecrow's hat for one of your character's hats and a small reward animation plays.

Rare item spotlight: the genuinely hard stuff

Most players will eventually stumble into the common and rare items above. The list below is the prestige tier — items that take real planning, a complete inventory, or a specific event window. If you are already a Toca Boca veteran looking for the last gaps in your collection, start here. The 8-gem collection set

Beyond crumpets and pets, Toca Boca World hides a full set of eight coloured gems scattered across districts. Each gem is small, sometimes tucked behind a vent, picture frame, or toilet tank, and counts toward the same global gem collection. Find them in any order — the locations are listed under each icon below.

The Crumpet Crumpet (the final unlock)

The Crumpet Crumpet is unique because it is not summoned with items in a character's hands — it is a compound reward. To unlock it you must already own every other secret crumpet except Salon and Tailor (those two are not required for the final). Carry the qualifying crumpets to the large yellow container in the Bop City storage centre and place them all inside. The Crumpet Crumpet spawns alongside two bonus items: a miniature caravan and a small suitcase apartment for it to live in.

Seasonal and event-only items

A rotating layer of secrets exists only during in-game events. Halloween typically introduces a black-cat or pumpkin crumpet, the winter event adds snow-themed accessories and a sleigh prop, and the spring event brings flower-crown outfits and a butterfly pet variant. These items are tagged Event in our atlas. If you missed an event, watch the in-game post office and gift machine for retroactive drops during anniversary celebrations.

Robot pet via the Gift Machine

The gift machine accepts certain item combinations rather than just dispensing random gifts. Combining a standard pet token with a robot accessory token triggers a robotic companion variant — a hybrid pet that behaves like a normal animal but with metallic textures and unique idle animations.

Surprise character transformations

Toca Boca quietly rewards "wrong" combinations. Putting unusual props on a character's head, or pairing two hairstyle elements that should not coexist, occasionally produces a one-off cosmetic effect (a glowing aura, a temporary new emoji). These are intentional easter eggs, not glitches; experiment freely in the salon and dressing room.

Hidden pets master list

For collectors who only care about the petting roster, here is every confirmed hidden pet in one block. All of these are tied to specific spots covered in the district sections above; this list is the index.

  • Croquet — Bop City storage centre, food bowl on floor indent. Nari's pet.
  • Nimbus — Summoned via Zeke + potato chips + golden remote.
  • Sloth — Summoned via Zeke + cabbage + light-up disco ball.
  • Arcade — Summoned via Zeke + orange action figure + blue action figure.
  • Midge — Summoned via Nari + rose + cheese pizza.
  • Panda — Summoned via Nari + milk + binoculars.
  • Poop Pet — Summoned via Nari + toilet paper + golden poop decoration.
  • Paulina — Summoned via Rita + black camera + binoculars.
  • Octobox — Summoned via Rita + octopus decoration + soccer ball.
  • Pasta — Summoned via Leon + golden cellphone + black sunglasses.
  • Nora — Summoned via Leon + green gemstone + pink pillow.
  • Hospital hamster — Free pet, tap the ambulance fuel tank.
  • Robot pet — Combine pet token + robot accessory at the Gift Machine.
  • Butterfly / spring pet Event — Drops during spring seasonal events.
  • Black cat / Halloween pet Event — Drops during Halloween events.

Hidden outfits & customizations

Outfits hide differently from pets — they are usually one-tap reveals once you find the trigger object, rather than multi-step combinations. A small sample from the gift-shelf and style-pack side of the wardrobe:

And the trigger-based outfits, hidden across the world map:

  • King Sloth outfit — Tap the "No Sloth" poster in the Bop City storage centre.
  • Hospital wardrobe set — Tap the trolley beside the ambulance.
  • Festival hairstyle pack — Visit the Voxella mobile salon during the event.
  • Lighthouse cosy set — Climb to the top of the Crumpet Island lighthouse.
  • Underground graffiti poster outfit — Enter the OK Street alley code to claim a streetwear set.
  • Mountain explorer outfit — Open the Pom Pom Peaks summit chest.
  • Mismatched hair experiments — Combine unusual hair and accessory pairs at the Bop City salon to surface one-off cosmetic effects.
  • Seasonal flower crown / pumpkin / sleigh outfits Event — Drop only during their respective events.

Wardrobe completionists: Hidden outfits do not appear in the regular item shop, and they cannot be purchased even with in-game currency. Your only path to a 100% wardrobe is finding each trigger in person. Bookmark this atlas, work through one district per session, and you will hit completion in a few weekends.

Common mistakes & troubleshooting

Of every email and comment we get about Toca Boca secrets, four problems account for roughly 90% of "this isn't working for me" reports. If a secret on this atlas does not trigger, walk through the checklist before assuming the guide is wrong.

1. Left and right hand swapped

Toca Boca's characters face the player, so when this guide says "right hand" it means the character's right hand, which appears on your left on the screen. About half of failed crumpet summons are resolved by simply swapping the two items between hands.

2. Wrong item variant

Many secret combinations require a specific colour or design variant — the golden remote, not the regular one; the green gemstone, not a red one; the black camera, not the silver. The Mall stocks visually similar decoys. If a combo fails, return to the source location and confirm you grabbed the exact variant listed in the table.

3. Wrong character

Summoning crumpets are character-locked. Zeke handles Sloth, Nimbus and Arcade; Nari handles Midge, Poop and Panda; Rita handles Paulina and Octobox; Leon handles Pasta, Nora, Salon and Tailor. Substituting a different family member, even one with the same items, will not trigger the spawn.

4. Outdated game version

If a secret was added or relocated in a recent patch, players still on an older build will not see it. Check your store listing for an update before troubleshooting further. Conversely, if a secret you used to know has stopped working, Toca Boca may have rotated it — let us know and we will re-verify against the current version.

Bonus: state-dependent triggers

A handful of secrets only fire when a related condition is also met. The Croquet bowl, for example, needs the floor indent clear of other props; if you parked another item on the same spot, the spawn silently fails. When in doubt, sweep the surrounding floor of debris and re-try.

Frequently asked questions

Across all current districts, players have catalogued more than 60 verified hidden spots — including 12 summoning crumpets, 10+ secret pets, multiple hidden rooms (Hospital lab, Haunted House lab, Lighthouse), several rare outfits, and event-only items that rotate seasonally. New secrets are added with major game updates, so the list keeps growing. This atlas is the consolidated index; for puzzle walkthroughs see our Secrets Guide 2026.

The most common reason is a left/right hand mix-up — the trigger is order-sensitive. Try swapping the two items between hands. Other causes: wrong character (only Zeke, Nari, Rita or Leon can summon crumpets), wrong item variant (for example the golden remote vs. a regular one), or an outdated game version. Update the game and double-check the item source location in the master table above.

Croquet hides in the Bop City storage centre. Look for a trail of food crumbs on the floor that leads toward one of the storage doors. Enter the room, pick up the teal food bowl, clear a small space on the ground where you can see faint food stains, and place the bowl on that exact spot. Croquet will materialise. Full atlas entry is in the Bop City section.

Go to the Bop City storage centre and walk to the far left side. There is a poster with the words "No Sloth" printed on it. Tap the poster and the king sloth outfit will be revealed and added to your wardrobe automatically — no items or characters required.

Drive or scroll to the hospital parking lot on the first floor. On the left side there is a parked ambulance. Tap the fuel tank on the side of the ambulance and a small hamster will appear. Melon seeds on a nearby surface can be used to feed it. You can also tap the trolley right next to the ambulance for a wardrobe of clothes and a diamond.

Most secrets remain stable across updates, but Toca Boca occasionally moves objects, retextures rooms, or replaces seasonal items. Event-only items (holiday crumpets, festival gems) do rotate and only appear during their event window. If a secret in this atlas no longer triggers, confirm you are on the latest build, then re-check the version note at the top of this guide for re-verification status.
